I think Ohio State made the most emphatic statement in comparison to TCU (struggled against a pathetic Kansas team), Mississippi State (choked on a big stage), and Baylor (idle). Just my opinion, but I don't see why this isn't plausbile. A win over a ranked opponent (even at 25) goes a long way.
