There should never be this many teams ranked ahead of Ohio State, but thanks to a fortuitous week 6, the Pac-12, Big-12, SEC, etc. get exposed for the media-hyped bloated, overblown bullshit that they are (much like Jesse Palmer's gelled hair).
Here I make an attempt at a more reasonable, updated version of the rankings for week 7 as accurate as I can, accounting for the SEC bias but still being realistic to those not employed by the WORLDWIDE LEADER.
1) FSU They've earned another week as overlords of mediocrity.
2) Aurburn thoroughly slaughtered SEC (powerhouse)
3) Ole Miss Beat #3/ become#3
4) Baylor can't wait for them to drop back to reality.
5) Miss. St. I'd say it's convincing.
6) Michigan St. beat ranked team. move up.
7) ND see above
8) Georgia One loss teams already?
9-12) Oregon/Bama/Oklahoma/ TAMU Just to temporarily shut 'em all up.
13) Ohio St. One loss was an anomaly
14) UCLA Gotta put 'em somewhere.
Others receiving votes: Arizona, Arizona St., TCU. Utah. Utah St., Cincy., East Carolina.
