I may be mistaken here, but I believe the rule is that you get 4 season's of eligibility for a single sport, but 5 total divided between 2 or more sports.  I would imagine that red-shirt seasons do not count toward this total.  With that being said...

Jameis Winston is talking about playing football for 2 more seasons.  It is my understanding that if he continues to play baseball, he is only eligible for 1 more season of football...

2012-13 academic year:  
Red-shirted in Football, played Baseball

2013-14 academic year:  
Played Football and is playing Baseball

2014-15 academic year:  
Plans to play Football, states that he plans to continue Baseball as well.

At this point, isn't his eligibility for college athletics exhausted?  Or am I misinterpreting the rules?  It seems like he would need to give up baseball in 2014/15 in order to play football in the fall of 2015...
