I’ve read that the NCAA has finally decided to ban something that has been silently plaguing the world of college recruiting, decorating recruits hotel rooms on official visits. 
After punting on NIL, dragging their feet on multiple investigations, most notably TTUN, and starting to tinker with the playoff before the new format even starts, why is now the time to act on something so trivial. 
Wouldn't one think that a bigger issue is recruits asking for $10k+ to even make an official visit? It is becoming ridiculous the petty things they are focusing on when the whole foundation of the NCAA is crumbling underneath them. 
There will be a day when they are no longer involved in football and I don’t think anyone will be surprised. It can’t happen fast enough in my opinion.
