There was a previous thread about this likely happening but it is now official as of today that those 4 will join and be playing during the 2023 season. Felt like it deserved its own thread and wanted to talk about the benefit of it to UC. Also stop with the dumbass comments "they arent as good as Texas and OU!!!! It is amazing how many people are saying this and think they are like some genius for noticing this, of course they aren't as good and of course the Big 12 will be worse.

For UC this is game changing. They currently make $7 million per year in AAC tv revenue and the new projections will be about $21 million per year which is tripling what they currently make. On top of this the bowl revenue tie ins and guaranteed playoff revenue will drastically increase and ticket sales/ad revenue will increase from the better competition. UC is going to be able to keep Fickell locked up long term because now there will be no reason to leave for anywhere other than OSU. I fully expect UC to be at the top of the new Big 12 everysingle year under Fickell. This is fantastic for UC, Cincinnati and all of Ohio high school football. If you dont get an OSU offer you don't have to go to UK, or MSU, or the B1G West now.

Going to be a lot of fun to have two major powers in the state of Ohio, enjoy it(=
