ESPN took a fun look at what might have been had some of the NBA greats who skipped college (or didn’t finish with the big programs they started with) actually played where they most likely would have ended up. Lebron was featured along with Kobe, Garnett and several others. I had no idea that Bird was actually a Hoosier for a brief minute. I also had no idea how stacked the Buckeye roster would have been with Lebron. From the article:

LeBron James (would have been a senior in the 2006-07 season)

Greg Oden (was a freshman in 2006-07)

Mike Conley (was a freshman in 2006-07)

Daequan Cook (was a freshman in 2006-07)

Ron Lewis (was a senior in 2006-07)

Othello Hunter (was a junior in 2006-07)

No chance that team loses to Florida in the championship. Or loses at all.  Another impressive roster would have been Kobe with North Carolina:

Kobe Bryant (would have been a freshman in the 1996-97 season)

Jerry Stackhouse (would have been a senior in 1996-97)

Rasheed Wallace (would have been a senior in 1996-97)

Jeff McInnis (would have been a senior in 1996-97)

Vince Carter (was a sophomore on the 1996-97 team)

Antawn Jamison (was a sophomore on the 1996-97 team)

Shammond Williams (was a junior on the 1996-97 team)

Here’s a link to the article if you’re looking for something to fill the bye week. It’s worth a look if only to see a young Lebron wearing the scarlet and gray.
