Its basically a running joke how weak the ACC Coastal is (and the ACC in general), but from a competitive standpoint, they could have their 7th different champion in 7 years if Virginia pulls it out the rest of the way (currently the are in 1st place).
Previous Coastal champions:
2018 - Pittsburgh
2017 - Miami (FL) (their first first division title since joining the ACC in 2004)
2016 - Virginia Tech
2015 - UNC
2014 - Georgia Tech
2013 - Duke
Compare this to other divisions over the past 6 years:
ACC Atlantic - 2 Champions : Clemson (4x), FSU (2x)
BIG East - 3 Champions: OSU (3x), MSU, PSU
BIG West - 2 Champions: Wisconsin (4x), Iowa
(the current BIG divisional setup only goes back 5 years but OSU/MSU were in the championship in 2013 from the Legends/Leaders)
SEC East - 3 Champions: Georgia (2x), Florida (2x), Missouri (2x)
SEC West - 2 Champions: Alabama (4x), Auburn (2x)
PAC North -3 Champions: Stanford (3x), Washington (2x), Oregon
PAC South - 4 Champions: USC (2x), Arizona, ASU, Colorado, Utah
So during that time the PAC-12 South (with only 6 teams) is the only other division that could possibly join the everyone wins in 7 years. (Checks UCLA's record. Nevermind).
