Jim Harbaugh made the Bobby Dodd Coach of the Year mid-season watch list. For those thinking this watch list must be for coaches on the hot seat, it is not. The award “celebrates the head coach of a team who enjoys success on the gridiron, while also stressing the importance of scholarship, leadership and integrity -- the three pillars of coach Bobby Dodd’s coaching philosophy”. WTF??? Is there anyone among us willing to give this watch list a pass for the ridiculous inclusion of Jim Harbro? Because I am not. His inclusion has officially rendered the award meaningless. Other Big Ten coaches on the watchlist included Paul Chryst, Kirk Ferentz  P.J. Fleck and James Franklin. Notice the absence of Mark Dantonio and Tom Allen from Indiana. First-year coaches were not considered.

The comment section of the article on MLive rightfully torched their head ball coach. My favorite comment in the thread:

Right, just where they always are. Ahead of us. Always ahead of us. Never to be caught up to. Every goal since Harbaugh took over is still there, ahead of us, waaaaay out ahead of us. They never change because they're never met. Same goals for 5 years. Yes, ALL of our goals are....ahead of us, not reached. :-(
