I have to give kudos to Saban for this-he's not wrong about it. Unfortunately all this does is give rhetorical ammo to idiots who want every player to get paid a salary. Ultimately, this boils down to critics-including advocates for the players-having the cojones to criticize players who are majoring in "eligibility" for all intents and purposes, with no plans for obtaining a useful college degree. This is a dirty little secret that player "advocates" can't address head on, w/out appearing to bash on the players for being poor/lazy students.
