The Huskers have hired Bill Moos from Washington State, where he’d been since 2010
Moos, a Washington State grad, had been Oregon’s AD from 1995-2007, helping raise the athletics budget from $18.5 million to $40 million. He left after a reported dispute with Nike’s Phil Knight. Yahoo.com

Bill Moos makes a lot of sense for Nebraska. Veteran AD (Montana/Oregon/Wazzu), good fundraiser, solid with the media, quality hiring record

My text messages are on fire right now. Nobody in the college sports industry understands what Nebraska just did, but maybe itll work.

I have a feeling Scott Frost gets better job offers than Nebraska. Mike Leach in Lincoln would be very intriguing.

Moos was the AD at Montana and Oregon before headed to Washington State in 2010. He hired Mike Leach. He knows Chip Kelly.

Leach is at Wazzu because Moos went to Key West and got him. That doesn't mean coach follows to Nebraska, but relationship was really tight.
