Now, for 2017 (for '16 I drew a blank, unless you want to talk about unworn mouthpieces), the NCAA is drawing a new line in the sand about above-the-knee knickers:
Is the No Cred At All (NCAA) becoming like the No Fun League (NFL) in its zeal to enforce uniform rules? Is it all about player safety? I'd argue that with multi-million dollar deals with the major sports clothing companies, colleges should be given a little more flexibility to tweak themes and comfort levels to accommodate player needs. If colleges had rigidly adhered to style dogma over the years, players would still be wearing these:
