Looks like TTUN is going to need to do some O-Line rebuilding this Fall, as they have likely lost their most senior starter in left tackle Grant Newsome to a knee injury for all of 2017.
While the details are kind of sketchy, it sounds like Newsome suffered a nasty knee injury last year during the Wisky game, spent 38 days in the hospital, and subsequently had an infection or re-injury of the knee.
Also of note - RB Drake Johnson (the player who got run over by the forklift in practice) is quitting due to ongoing medical reasons. He had also had two past ACL tears.
