Apologies to those who read this before it went to Blog Heaven.
This is a few days late, but I needed some time to celebrate the Sugar Bowl win.
I have posted some of the gems from rollbamaroll.com so you don't have to read all 250+ posts. To their credit, the reactions from Alabama fans after a loss are nowhere near the level of That Team's fans.
The spelling and words are theirs, I will not correct them.

OHIO STATE WHIPPED US
Mr. Peabody
They just whipped us, folks.
Plain and simple. Sometimes the other team is just better than we are.
It happens.

From what I saw this was the poorest performance of a Bama team in years. Kudos to the OSU staff for preparing their players for this game. Who’d have thought a 3rd string QB could gash our defense like he did in the first half.

"They just whipped us, folks."
Damn straight they did. 21-6 and they kicked our ass with a third string qb. Shit play calling and the same rotten secondary play we’ve seen for awhile. Ohio Staters saying this was one of their great wins in team history, and it was.
But the biggest indicator of their skill was that long pass we finally hit at the end and they closed and prevented a touchdown. I wish we had a secondary like that.
Alabama and Auburn lose to the Big the same day, just damn. And I at least won’t have Freudian dreams of green grasshoppers devouring my cotton crop, because Oregon would have beaten us bad.

Agreed...And for those not sure they whipped us check the stats (and in this case they really aren’t just for chumps). Bama was opportunistic in the first half (the first 28 minutes of it anyway) but OSU had a ton of success without the results being evident on the scoreboard. The hungrier team won last night. I look at it as a mercy killing; Oregon would skull drag our secondary.

a whipping is in the eye of the beholder.
The final score may not have indicated a whipping, but putting up 500+ yards on us, including a back getting more than 200…and the fact that, to my eye test, OSU was more physical than Alabama for most of the game….that’s why I would agree that this was a whipping. Not taking anything away from Alabama. Before the season started I never dreamed that this team would make it as far as they did. But we got whipped last night. No shame in it. No shame in admitting it. Everyone gets whipped once in a while. Even elite teams.
FIRE FICKELL KIFFIN and SMART

Tough loss. Kiffin fucked up royally. Awful situational play calling. Henry averages 7 yards a carry and we dont run him on 2nd or 3rd and short. No excuses. The bullshit gimmick play after the awful punt by state was a joke. Henry would have plowed straight thru,we had them realing.
[...]
Bad situational play calling across the board. Blasphemous use of derrick henry. He was un stoppable. Kiffin can keep all the stats he wants, when we played good defenses his offense was lame. Has to be said. Ole miss, lsu and now ohio state. Awful situational play calling. 6"3 240lb rb and we run a bootleg on 2 and 2, next on 3rd down we put in an injured TJ Yeldon who proceeds to run right into the teeth of the defense for no gain. You could see our outside and inside zone runs out of the shotgun from the fucking moon the defense sure knew it was coming. Where the fuck is the logic? The sense? Strategy? Fucking balls to fucking block someone? For all theshit we gqave nussmeirr, he atleast would hqve run henry till he couldnt walk anymore. FUCK!

HOW ALABAMA FANS THINK OHIO STATE WILL DO AGAINST OREGON
RammerJammer23
If you're looking for a little Schadenfreude...
beside the fact that I think OSU will get blown out by the Ducks…I’ve noticed a trend in teams that beat Bama in big/close/dramatic games. The following years all trend downward (aside from the 2011 USCe team, who were actually better than the 2010 team). So maybe OSU loses a few more next year.

JBeachum
In other news I don’t envy OSU having to go up against a fully armed and operational Marcus Mariota. Watching him eviscerate FSU made me think lots of unsettling thoughts about what he would do to us.

For me, I still haven't even become apeshit mad!
It’s weird. F_*cking weird!A couple of years ago, one of my favorite uncles passed away. I was such at a loss, that I couldn’t even muster a cry. There was a tear or two here or there, but at the funeral- I was so busted up inside that I didn’t have the courage to stand up and speak a few words about him. Again, I didn’t cry one bit, even as we passed dirt and buried him.
Same thing about this loss. Normally, I RAEG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m still just purely stunned. I used to ROYALLY HATE URBZ. Now, it’s like, "Damn Dude, your poor f*cking heart. Don’t die. Great game, dickhead!" (it’s like, I respect the heck outta him after last night)
Totally. Weird.
(oh fuck. . . . . i WANT TO rage!!!!)
