The death of George Wendt got me thinking about the great shows and sitcoms. There have been so many great / funny shows over the years, shows that you would make sure to tune in for every week. Cheers, Friends, Seinfeld, Frazier, Big Bang Theory, Good Times, Modern Family, Mash, Arrested Development, All in the family, The Office, Everybody Loves Raymond, I Love Lucy, Scrubs, How I Met Your Mother, Two and a half men, Taxi, Diff'rent Strokes and on and on.
Must-see-TV Thursday nights (with ER, Friends etc) was a big deal back in the day. There doesn't seem to be anything like that anymore. Did they just stop making good TV programming?
These days, I can't think of a single show on TV that I would make sure to "tune in" for. There's some shows I watch, but nothing I'm stoked about. The only thing I really make sure to watch are sports (Buckeye games, CFB games in general), good sitcoms simply don't appear to exist anymore. What happened?
