Has anyone had hip preservation surgery? I've been diagnosed with FAI (cam/pincher type) and a labral tear which is calcified. Recommendation: labral reconstructive surgery (cadaver) with resurfacing. Very concerned about recovery/return to sport as I am an extremely active 45 year old with many big adventures left on my to do list. 

Any recommendations on who to see? I'm in SE US but open to traveling for "the guy." Current guy is very young (right out of fellowship) and I'd like second or third opinions from more experienced surgeons.
