This documentary short tells the story of my high school, that hosted student-organized concerts by some of the most iconic rock groups of the 1960s.
The Doors, Cream, Sly & the Family Stone, the Animals, the Young Rascals, and the Yardbirds all played in a two-year span. And there were other name performers too. It was amazing.
It’s possible some of you in the Cleveland area saw this because I know it screened at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Film Series a couple of years back. (On a related note, if I should ever get to Cleveland, is the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame worth a visit?)
