Thanks to private donor Pete Kadens, an Ottawa Hills native, who announced he is paying for 4.5 years of tuition, room, board, and fees to a college or trade school to all graduating seniors and one parent or legal guardian. In addition, he is donating $100,000/year for the next 5 years to Toledo Mayor Kapszukiewicz's plan to provide universal day care to all 4 year olds in the city.
