The idea of shared generational experience has always fascinated me, as a topic. I recall seeing Neil Howe and William Strauss discussing this on CSPAN in the 1990s. Their description of generational traits and even the sub-generations within generations make for a rather fascinating deep-dive if one is so inclined.
In the last year CBS News had this infographic when discussing some topic about Millennials. It didn't go unnoticed that they left out the years 1965-1980.
I'll give you a hint which generation I'm in: the one missing from this graphic (Gen X, 1976).
