Holy guacamole, August 25 is chock a block full up with musical milestones. Birthdays are celebrated by Gene Simmons, Elvis Costello, Rob Halford (Judas Priest), Vivian Campbell (Dio, Def Leppard, Whitesnake), Terminator X (Public Enemy), Alan Parker (Dave Clark Five),  Wayne Shorter (Miles Davis band, Weather Report) and Billy Ray Cyrus (Hannah Montana's dad).

Albums released today include "On Time" by Grand Funk Railroad in 1969, "Who's Next" by The Who in 1971, "Everybody's in Show Biz" by The Kinks in 1972, "Brothers and Sisters" by the Allman Brothers Band in 1973, "Born to Run" by The Boss in 1975, "Boston" by Boston in 1976, "Sorry, Ma, Forgot to Take Out the Trash" by the Replacements in 1981, "...And Justice for All" by the Mighty Met in 1989,  and "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill" by Lauryn Hill in 1991.

Helluva day for music, so let's celebrate by sharing something from those artists or anything else that tickles your fancy.
