I’ve been MIA a few days dealing with some serious health stuff my youngest boy has been going through.

some know, some don’t, I’m an incredibly proud parent of two boys. One five years old and one 8 months old.

this week my youngest was hospitalized with the flu, and it was bad. On Monday night we weren’t sure if we would be bringing our baby boy home again, it was that bad. His mother and I were terrified. We took him to children’s hospital because his breathing had become far too labored and he was in and out of consciousness.

i don’t know what or if there is a higher power watching over my family, but I thank whatever force in the universe brought us into that ER when it did because that saved our baby boys life, no question. 

11w is one of the few communities I frequent, not just for buckeye stuff but for the brotherhood of people with a common purpose.

this flu that’s going around is not a joke. If you’ve got elderly or infant age folks around and they’ve been exposed and are showing signs, don’t wait, get them evaluated. There’s no question in our case it saved our sons life.
