1773- Boston Tea Party some guys got dressed up and threw a bunch of tea into Boston harbor.  Really ticked off the establishment in London

1944 - Battle of the Bulge.  Last German offensive on the Western front.  10 days later Patton relieves Bastogne and helps make General MacAuliffe a legend for his use of an American colloquialism (Nuts)

Sincere thanks to the patriots that started the whole thing and to the ones that beat back the last enemy offensive in Europe
