Hey guys,

We're a tight knit group here at 11Warriors, and I know we've done some pretty cool stuff in the past to give back to our community. So I wanted to create a post to bring to light a fundraiser that my long-time girlfriend, Chanelle, has started. She is currently working at a prep school here in Columbus as a math mentor for grades K-8, and she has grown extremely attached to these kids.

Her charter school deals mostly with under-privileged children that come from low-income situations. And while I'm not sure what I'm allowed to or not allowed to say out of respect for the parents, they need all of the help that they can get. The school provides breakfast and lunch, but Chanelle works with a group that is held after hours to provide individual help. Often times, these are the kids who come from the less ideal home situations - and the ones who depend most on whatever food the school can provide.

Well, the other night she came home with tears in her eyes because she feels the need to do more to make sure they're simply being fed enough. This is something that she is extremely passionate about, and it affects our city, so I told her that I would help in whatever way I could.

I wanted to post here a link to her GoFundMe page, because Eleven Warriors is one of my very favorite communities that I'm a part of, and you guys are awesome. The fundraiser will help provide snacks for those kids who stay after hours at the school, and any donation would go a long ways. It's about providing kids an opportunity to focus on learning, but it's also more than that. Donations will allow these students to rest assured that at least one more source of food will be provided to them each day, something that isn't at all guaranteed for many of them.

Go visit the two links, do some research, ask me any questions that you may have (and I'll try to answer them); but this is something that means a lot to me and it's just a good thing.

Thanks for your time guys. And as always,

Go Bucks!
