It's that time of the week again.

We're kicking it off with one of my mainstays--my favorite band, Kamelot. This song comes from their tenth studio album, "Silverthorn" and features an excellent guest contribution from the rather steamy and dreamy Alissa White Gluz of Archenemy, who performs both growled and clean vocals on this track. Up next is a song that I just got into the last few days from a band that I'm actually shocked I've never featured in this series: Joy Division. This song captures the quiet power of the late Ian Curtis as well as the spirited drumming and other instrumentation of this forerunner to modern Indie and Punk rock. This is "Disorder."

Next is a song by rapper Action Bronson from his album Blue Chips. It features an interesting contrast between Bronson's trademark braggadoccious style and a sample from Dean Martin's "Return to Me." This is "9/24/11."
