With expansion of the convention center and continued growth downtown, is it time for the city to build a light rail system or even heavy rail and/or tunnels through parts of the city.
Easton/Airport to downtown? Downtown to northen part of the city?
I don't live in Columbus, but it is getting more and more expensive to find hotels downtown. Better transit systems would make it viable to stay in other areas and take a train to whatever events. I have to think the lack of a better system is a drawback when trying to lure national level conventions.
