Ok, I'm already done talking about the near disaster today in Bloomington, so let's vent about other silly things in football that bother us.  I have two to start us off:

Why can players never find a ref to give the ball to unless they score?  There's always a ref coming from the sideline right behind them.  Instead, they just look around for a minute and then chuck the ball 15 yards instead of just turning around.

It kills me when a guy picks up 6 and the announcer says 4.  It's 2nd and 7 or 8?  The announcer is going to call it 2nd and 9.  "And he falls forward to the 37," dude, the ball is practically at the 40.
