Been another brutal long albeit warless summer here in the hinterlands of the holyland. Its always hot, much more when the eastern winds blow in with sprinklings of mud(the summer substitute for rain here). In a week, give or take a few seconds, the season will begin wit a beatdown of Va Tech. All respect goes out to members hedging bets on the outcome, random inane predictions by asshat sports pundits. whatnot. With that said, I am an OSU Buckeye football fan, have been since sitting in blustery winds cold rains vs MSU @1966 munching on affordable hot dog sipping hot cold chocolate getting soaked to my young bones. So, if ...I occassionally interject a fan motivated rant into a doubters doubting comment with regard to the already settled outcome of next weeks game, I apologize in advance to the 11W communtity...haters gonna hate, doubters gonna doubt, and most important,in my case, ranters gonna rant. Knowing this beforehand does not stop me from "the rant", and after this summer and neverending offseason, got lots of ranting pent up inside. All respect to everyone that thinks Va Tech stands a remote chance in hell of winning this game,but...it ain't gonna happen. lol
