Buzz Aldrin chimes in, lauding efforts by the university to devise a plan for colonisation on Mars. I'm worried about the inevitable and current privatisation of space exploration, like leading to the deaths of random school teachers who win a contest to be the first to Pluto, but Purdue students have developed a strong proposal for something that will happen within the next 30 years: people on the Red Planet. There needs to be an academic version of "B1G! B1G! B1G!".
