Per Yahoo Sports’ Ross Dellenger, Auburn is giving Golesh a six-year contract worth an average of $7.4 million per year.
Golesh heads to Auburn after three seasons at USF in which the Bulls went 23-15, headlined by a 9-3 season this year. He was previously the offensive coordinator at Tennessee in 2021 and 2022, and has also been an assistant coach at UCF, Iowa State, Illinois, Toledo, Oklahoma State and Northern Illinois.
Golesh grew up in Dublin, Ohio, where he played football at Dublin Scioto High School before attending Ohio State. Golesh didn’t play for the Buckeyes, but was a student assistant coach on Jim Tressel’s staff in 2004 and 2005.
