Death, taxes and Rich Rod losing to an Ohio team.
In a game that was hyped up due to it being sold out because a bunch of West Virginia fans bought out many of the tickets to the Mountaineers' game at Ohio University, Rich Rodriguez had a chance to finally win a game in the state of Ohio for the first time in his 19-year coaching career.
Although the Mountaineers were 3.5-point favorites on the road, the Bobcats beat West Virginia, 17-10. Although it was a one-possession game on the scoreboard, Ohio dominated the stat sheet. The Bobcats had more total yards (429-250) and possessed the football for 40:15 compared to the Mountaineers' 16:40.

West Virginia fell to 1-1 on the season. The Bobcats are also now 1-1 after losing to Rutgers to open the season.
Rodriguez went 0-3 against Ohio State during his brief three years in Ann Arbor, a span that Michigan was just 15-22 overall.
Ohio State hosts the Bobcats at 7 p.m. next Saturday in The Shoe. The game can be seen on Peacock.
