Two players Ohio State fans should be all too familiar with and a two-way star from the West will be the cover athletes for the first edition of EA Sports’ new college football game, EA Sports College Football.

Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers, Michigan running back Donovan Edwards and Colorado cornerback/wide receiver Travis Hunter are featured on the cover for the game, which was revealed Thursday.

The cover for the deluxe edition of the game also features those three players prominently but features several other college football stars as well, including Ohio State running back Quinshon Judkins, Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe and Georgia quarterback Carson Beck.

Ewers spent one fall in Columbus after reclassifying from the class of 2022 to the class of 2021 as a recruit, then transferred to Texas after seeing just two snaps of action at Ohio State as a freshman. He completed 69% of his passes for 3,479 yards and 22 touchdowns last season in his second year starting for the Longhorns.

Edwards has rushed for 1,662 yards in his three-year career with the Wolverines. He ran for only 497 yards last season but scored two touchdowns in Michigan’s national championship game victory over Washington, surpassing 100 yards for the first time all year. He rushed for a career-high 216 yards against Ohio State in 2022, including two touchdown runs of 75 yards or more to seal Michigan's 45-23 win.

Hunter made an impact on both sides of the ball for the Buffaloes last year. He hauled in 57 receptions for 721 yards and five touchdowns on offense while collecting 30 tackles, three interceptions and five pass breakups on defense.

EA Sports College Football 25 will be available for purchase on Xbox One Series X/S and PlayStation 5 on July 19.
