LSU advances.

Behind another prolific performance from Joe Burrow, the top-seeded Tigers blasted No. 4 Oklahoma 63-28 to punch their ticket to the College Football Playoff championship game.

The Heisman Trophy had the best game of his career on the biggest stage, throwing for 493 yards and seven touchdowns – both career highs – and also added a touchdown on the ground. Burrow had seven touchdowns through the air before halftime.

Burrow set the College Football Playoff record for passing yards, passing yards ins a half, total yards, passing touchdowns and total touchdowns.

LSU will now face the winner of Saturday night's game between Clemson and Ohio State at the Jan. 13 title game in New Orleans.
