Dylan Raiola has changed his commitment again.

Just two days before National Signing Day, the former Ohio State quarterback commit flipped for the second time as he decommitted from Georgia and committed to Nebraska.

Raiola originally committed to Ohio State in May 2022, but decommitted from the Buckeyes last December. He committed to Georgia this May, but that commitment lasted only as long as his commitment to the Buckeyes did.

Assuming he signs with Nebraska on Wednesday, Raiola will follow in the footsteps of his father Dominic and uncle Donovan, who were both star offensive linemen for the Cornhuskers. Donovan Raiola is now Nebraska’s offensive line coach.

If Raiola wins Nebraska’s starting quarterback job as a freshman, he’d play against Ohio State at Ohio Stadium on Oct. 26, 2024. Nebraska is also scheduled to play at home against Ohio State in 2026 and at Ohio Stadium in 2027.

Raiola was ranked as the No. 1 overall prospect in the recruiting class of 2024 when he committed to Ohio State, but that honor now belongs to Ohio State wide receiver commit Jeremiah Smith. Raiola is now ranked as the No. 6 overall prospect in 247Sports’ composite rankings.

Georgia still has a quarterback in its recruiting class of 2024 in four-star commit Ryan Puglisi. Ohio State replaced Raiola with five-star Georgia quarterback Air Noland, who committed to the Buckeyes in April.
