Ryan Day and Chris Holtmann are the Best Damn Recruiters in the Land.

Day has long had the top 2022 recruiting class in the country, but on Monday, Holtmann joined him at the top.

With the commitment of four-star center Felix Okpara, the Ohio State basketball team now has the top-ranked 2022 recruiting class in the country, leaping previously top-ranked North Carolina in the team rankings.

Okpara gives the Buckeyes four commitments in the 2022 recruiting cycle, three of which are top-50 prospects. Point guard Bruce Thornton is the highest-rated of the bunch, checking in at No. 23 overall as the highest-rated four-star prospect in the country. He's joined by shooting guard Roddy Goyle Jr., who's ranked as the No. 46 prospect in the country, and Okpara who's ranked No. 49. Three-star shooting guard Bowen Hardman rounds out the quartet, ranked No. 201 in the nation.

Ohio State's football class is obviously loaded as well, holding commitments from six top-50 prospects, including three five-stars – quarterback Quinn Ewers, cornerback Jaheim Singletary and linebacker C.J. Hicks, ranked No. 1, No. 14 and No. 16 in the country, respectively.

Needless to say, the future is bright in Columbus on both the gridiron and the hardwood.
