Deshaun Thomas scored 17 points with eight boards and four assists as the Buckeyes got back on track, thrasing an overmatched Chicago State squad, 87-44, today in Value City Arena.

Thomas scored 12 of his points in the first half and the Buckeyes used a 20-5 run to overcome a sluggish start, eventually taking a 37-24 lead at the break.

Making his first start of his collegiate career, Amir Williams tallied just four points and four boards but former starter Evan Ravenel responded with five points and 10 boards.

LaQuinton Ross added 15 points and Lenzelle Smith scored 13. Struggling as of late, Aaron Craft chipped in 10 points and six dimes.

The win improves Ohio State to 10-2 on the season with B1G play set to kick off next Wednesday night against Nebraska.
