The Big Ten still doesn't allow night football games in November, but Ohio State will get their fill in the month of October with three primetime kickoffs on the 2012 calendar.

On October 6, the Buckeyes will host Nebraska at 8pm in a game that will be televised on ABC, ESPN or ESPN2. The game will also serve as OSU's Homecoming and will be Nebraska's first visit to Ohio Stadium since 1956. Oh yeah, that's also Eat Too, Brutus weekend, which is Eleven Warriors' annual charity tailgate. The event raises money for the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer research and nearly as importantly, sports a 2-0 lifetime record in subsequent Buckeye games (Miami 2010 and Wisconsin 2011).

The following week, Ohio State's road game at Indiana in Memorial Stadium will be an 8pm contest on the Big Ten Network. Our favorite type of primetime game: One that you know you're going to win.

Finally, Ohio State will face Penn State at 6pm in State College on October 27. ABC, ESPN or ESPN2 will broadcast that game. This will be another revenge game for the Buckeyes as they were upended by the Nittany Lions at home in 2011.

Ohio State is 34-18 all-time in night games (those starting after 5 p.m. local time) with a 7-3 record in Ohio Stadium, an 18-8 mark on the road and a 9-7 record at neutral sites.
