I work in Louisiana and some LSU fans actually want Alabama to win so so that the SEC will still (potentially) be represented in the national title game. SEC University at its best.
Wouldn't that be like wanting ttun to win The Game? I cannot imagine that ever happening, ever, never ever.
That makes me sick.
I have confidence the Mad Hatter will pull something from his bag of tricks and eek out a win late in the game. That's my story and I'm sticking with it.
Obviously I want LSU to win, but if I were a betting man (which generally I'm not), I would pick Alabama to win.
Columbus to Pasadena: 35 hours. We're on a road trip through the desert looking for strippers and cocaine... and Rose Bowl wins!
I want LSU to win of course, but I think they're going to get pummeled.
IF the Mad Hatter can't pull this one out for us, Alabama still has to go to Auburn for the Iron Bowl, which can be as throw the records out as The Game. So to me, it's not quite like last night, where if Oregon had won, they would have been heavy favorites in all the rest.
I expect Mettenberger and LSU's offense to have a huge game, but still lose 49-42
I WANT lsu to win....but that isn't going to happen

I know Miles is 3-1 at Alabama, but no way Alabama loses. Lots of people voting with their hearts it looks like...
"I know Stanford won last year, but no way Oregon loses."
Nothing is for certain.

Game was at Stanford, really didn't expect much out of Oregon. I didn't think their defense would struggle THAT much, however.
The game is in T-Town, and while LSU won 3 of their past 4 there, trends are just put in place to be broken.
The offseason begins when your season ends. Even then there are no days off.
LSU is 7-3 in their last 10 games in Tuscaloosa, and the road team usually wins the game in this rivalry. It is extremely odd.
Drunk mind, sober thoughts...right?
I BELIEVE IN YOU LESSSSSS
Time for this BcSECSPiN thingy to geaux away.

I think LSU covers but probably comes up a bit short losing by a field goal. I am really hoping that I am wrong though and that Les can pull off the upset
Too bad it's LSU and not SCLSU.
Italics are for emphasis; an ellipsis represents an unfinished thought.
More reason to hate Alabama, making me have to root for LSU.

After Oregon went down, I think there are some 'bama players thinking now, "we can't let this happen to us". Which, of course, they can and hopefully will do.

Thanks for Chering.
I'm dying to know if you believe the children are the future...
There was a write up somewhere stating that the road team has pretty much dominated the series over 15 to 20 years or something. I hope that holds true.
And then I told her...i'm no weatherman, but tonight's forecast is calling for several inches!
Alabama has gone 4–11 against LSU in games played in the state of Alabama since 1982.
Not a chance LSU keeps this game even close. Bama is awesome. They are going to destroy LSU and make the BCS championship game completely irrelevant. They should just be crowned champs now and two other teams can play for 2nd place. Sure, last night gave us some hope, but Bama is still king. Long live the king.
(dips into the jinx well one more time)
I haven't seen a team that dominates like Alabama.
How many of the people voting "LSU" actually think that they're going to win? Not "want them to win," not "could see them winning," but actually think that they're leaving Tuscaloosa with a W? Put differently: how many of you, if forced to put money on this game, straight-up, would actually wager on LSU? I'm pretty sure it's not many.
As a high risk, high reward man...I would probably be willing to fork over a mil or 2 on LSU.
That's not the premise. There is no "high reward" because there are no odds; it's straight-up.
[looks down, sighs, and whispers ..Damn it..]
I know there's a game Saturday, and my ass will be there.
I believe Les Miles, in a tie game, goes for a fake field goal with 2 seconds left (???) and the holder proceeds to throw a pick-six, making the game end in typical LSU fashion
Full Disclosure: I cannot justify why I voted for LSU in this poll. It was a reactionary move.
"Because I couldn't go for 3"
Does anyone think Bama kinda has to lose two?! I'm sensing quite a bit of confidence that if Bama loses, they're out of this thing.
I mean if they lose tomorrow, but then run the table ... no one thinks they'll be (at least) #2?
My point/fear is that a one-loss Bama + and undefeated FSU still leaves us (possibly) undefeated and (possibly) #3.
I welcome explanations of the depths of how far off I am on this.
I work with a Bama fan who thinks it's already time to stamp the (M)NC trophy with Roll Tide.
I work with a LSU alum who just hopes they keep it close.
with my logic and reasoning, I got LSU by 3.
