I originally voted Indiana then saw how low the spread actually was. I can really see this game being one where the team comes out unmotivated and barely squeaks out a win.
I hope the team remembers how Indiana played them last year, so they better come out strong and never let up. I'm perfectly fine if our Offense scores so much that our backups start getting quality PT.
Good point, Bassplayer. It wasn't just that Indy kept the game close last year; the Hoosiers played chippy against the Buckeyes - late hits, etc.
Some other factors that might help the Buckeyes to cover:
Last week, Indy led MSU at the half, 27-13, which probably got the attention of Buckeye players and coaches.
The Buckeyes have started slowly in several games this year and will be geared-up to start out well, focused this week.
Carlos Hyde is gaining confidence and now faces Indy's 99th ranked rushing defense. Indy did a pretty good job against Bell last week, but as we know, MSU's offense is fairly one-dimensional. The week before, they gave up 394 rushing yards to NW's more varied, spread rushing attack.
Indy has a good quick passing game, which will give the Buckeyes some problems. The Buckeyes pass rush is finally getting back to full strength, though.
I see the Buckeyes getting up by 20+ points in this game, but they could be vulnerable to a "back door" cover.
Indiana has 3 wins and 2 ties vs Ohio State since 1948
Indiana's last 2 wins were against what John Cooper said was "too many slow white guys" Earl Bruce OSU teams, and Indiana rode the cape of All-Time Hoosier Great RB Anthony Thompson.
Any given Saturday, is a phrase developed for a reason, but this is as close to a sure thing as it gets...... Go Bucks!

I am actually offended by the fact they are only favored by 17.
To err is human. Really sucking requires having yellow stripes on your helmet.
Going to Vegas this weekend, thought the spread would be high 20s at least. This makes it very tempting...
I want Meyer to put the likes of Indiana and Purdue back in their place. 70 points please.
Tomorrow
I have to go with Indiana here, the hangover is coming. Obviously I still like osu in the game though.
Only problem I see could be a letdown after 2 big wins. Could see a sluggish first half but will probably be a blowout.

I'd probably lay the 17, but I could see a hangover game. If the D plays well, it will be a blowout.
God damn that's a pretty f*cking good milkshake! I don't know if it's worth five dollars, but it's pretty f*cking good.

What prevents this from being a hangover game is Indiana can't sneak up on us the way they snuck up on Sparty, I say we win by 24.
With 6 games of tape for them to review, I say they're prepped and able to cover. No hanghover game. We win by at least 21.

Indiana has some talent on offense and I feel they get a back door cover.
We always dominate out there. Indiana should've saved their sneakiness for us. OSU wins by at least 4 TDs.

Of coarse the Buckeyes cover. They're still Indiana.

Coarse... They way I like my sand.

10 bucks says that line moves to 20 plus by kickoff
~Because we couldn't go for three~
Just like 2002, I don't care HOW we win just as long we have more points than the other team on the field.

O Line pushes this game to 20 by themselves.
Nothing like dancing on the field in 02...
Indiana is 12-68-5 all-time vs OSU
