So, Americans, you might have heard through the grapevine: Nov. 8th, 2016 is a federal election in this great country of ours.

While it's an inalienable right (in this country, not on Eleven Warriors) to squabble over the choices facing our nation, everyone with a functional cerebral cortex agrees it's important every American exercises their most important right when the time comes.

Urban Meyer believes this, too, which is why he spent the summer giving his players an American civics history lesson.

The above video, shot during this summer's Patriot Week, features Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted and former Ohio State Congressman Otto Beatty Jr. talking to the football team about the price of freedom.

Offensive lineman Billy Price, featured in the video, obviously took the lesson to heart. As did middle linebacker Raekwon McMillan, who registered voters through a fraternity drive.

Add it all together, and it's another example of what separates Ohio State from most college football programs in America.
