Ohio State drew first blood in Norman, Oklahoma.

The Buckeyes didn't do much with their first possession, but they opened scoring on the next possession.

Urban Meyer needed a timeout to think about it, but after rumination he gave the ball to junior hybrid back Curtis Samuel.

The Brooklynite rewarded him with a 34-yard run that opened scoring on the night in Oklahoma.

Tyler Durbin made the ensuing extra point to make it 7-0, Ohio State.
