Much ado was made about Ezekiel Elliott's workload in the lead up to the 212th rendition of The Game.

Nobody is questioning it now.

Ezekiel Elliott put up 75 yards in the first quarter, and 66 of them came on this run that put Ohio State in prime position to open scoring. It was the longest run surrendered by Michigan this year.

Two plays and a timeout later, J.T. Barrett's 11-yard run put Ohio State up 6-0. A Sean Nuernberger PAT made it 7-0, the score heading into the second quarter.
