Deshaun Thomas and Sam Thompson last played together in March 2013 when Ohio State bowed to Witchita State in the West Regional Final of the NCAA Tournament.

The two former Buckeye scorers are getting the band back together, however. The Charlotte Hornets announced their Summer League roster Tuesday, and Thomas and Thompson both made the cut. (Shannon Scott, meanwhile, joined the Phoenix Suns' Summer League team earlier this week.)

Thomas, originally drafted in the second round of the 2013 NBA draft by the San Antonio Spurs, played overseas for two seasons before returning stateside with the Spurs' Austin, Texas D-League affiliate in 2015-16.

Thompson, undrafted in 2015, also played in the D-League last season, when the Detroit Pistons-affiliated Grand Rapids Drive traded him to the Philadelphia 76ers-affiliated Delaware 87ers midseason.

The public will get its first look at the reunited Buckeye tandem July 2nd at 11 a.m. ET when the Hornets take on the Orlando Magic in Summer League action live from Orlando.
