As part of the Soles4Souls initiative, 11 Ohio State student-athletes received the rare opportunity to travel to Jamaica this month and provide shoes for underprivileged youth.

Among them were a pair of football players, middle linebacker Raekwon McMillan and offensive guard Billy Price and a men's basketball player, Keita Bates-Diop. Other athletes that participated in the service trip were women's soccer player Lindsey Agnew, pistol shooter Elizabeth Buerling, women's gymnast Michelle Burns, women's basketball player Asia Doss, men's hockey player Christian Lampasso, recently crowned national champion and men's volleyball player Miles Johnson, men's soccer player Tyler Kidwell and women's volleyball player Kylie Randall.

Watch the videos for interviews at the Fawcett Center with these three student-athletes to see how they spent their time in Jamaica, what it meant to them, what they missed most from the United States (spoiler: Chipotle), the unrelenting heat of the tropics and whether or not they worked out while they were in the Caribbean.

Here are some photos of their arrival in Jamaica and more of the trip as a whole.
