PHONE'S RINGING -- IT'S URBAN ON THE LINE
Texas. Their arrogance killed a conference.
Come live in Texas for a little while and if you're in any kind of environment where you work with UT guys who were in fraternities, or interact with people who didn't go to college but swear they're diehard Longhorn fans, you'll want to bang your head on a desk repeatedly until you blackout.
Class of 2008
I spent 4+ years there. I see what you are saying, but having been to the game at UT in 2006, their fans were pretty classy and overall very welcoming.
Dallas Cowboy fans, on the other hand...
I have to go with Alabama. There's just something about Nick Saban that rubs me the wrong way and since he's been coaching there it seems like their fans have been the cockiest I've ever seen. The only reason that I have to like about Alabama is that Forrest Gump went there.
Yeah, I'm sure people's answers may be affected by where they live. I live in Ohio, so I am not exposed to too many other fanbases other than Michigan and ND. Although I probably used to hate ND second most to Michigan, that is no longer the case, although I still love to see them lose. to me, it was a toss-up between Penn State and Wisky ... I can't stand either one of those teams. I picked Penn state, but it could have easily been Wisky. can't stand the coach.
On a another note, I honestly don't understand why people hate florida so much. Yeah, they beat us (twice in championship games) but that is not reason to hate them, unless you have the character of a 12 year old. it's not like we have a lot of history with them. They whoped us, so what? it happens.
I know so many Bucks fans that hate Florida and I can't figure it out. Jealousy? Bitterness? note sure why. We never play them.
There's no aside about it. My two favorite teams every weekend are The Buckeyes and who ever is playing Notre Dame. Hence, one weekend a year, Michigan is my second favorite team. Besides, I always cheer for B1G verses any non con.
I know this is not the right place for this but I need some help from my Buckeye brothers. On Saturday mornings, I always get up and turn on the horrible station called ESPN, and watch College Gameday. I was born in Dayton, Ohio in 1973 and have lived in Central Florida since 1981. I do not get into any Ohio pro teams, but bleed scarlet and gray. I even have a different Buckeye hat that I wear for each Big-10 opponent except Nebraska (I'll get that one soon). Anyway, I live and die with our Buckeyes and just want to know something. What do you Bucks fans watch when College Gameday is on? Have we boycotted the program as we should have already due to Mark May among many other things? I'm just wanting to know what Ohio people watch on Saturday mornings. I don't want to support a station that hires all of our former players as analysts but truly hates our beloved team. Any thopughts for me? Thanks, guys and gals.
On another note, TSUN has 3 Heisman winners. Harmon was born in Indiana, Howard and Woodson were both born as Buckeyes. Do you think that it bothers them at all that they cannot get a Heisman winner from their own state? I still can't figure out how a kid that was born in Ohio would got to play for TSUN. Kyle Kalis wants to make me friggin puke.
Anyway, what to you Bucks fans watch while College Gameday is on. I can stand watching it as long as Mark May doesn't join the staff but want to do what Buckeye Nation does...since I am in Central Florida. A little help, please.?!?? Thanks and Go Bucks!
"I hope they're last in everything"
Honestly, I read. I check out some of my favorite blogs and make the rounds in the CFB blogosphere. It's much more enjoyable (and enlightening) than watching Gameday.
Thanks much...but could you give me some specifics on the blogs? I am an old computer idiot. What would you suggest that I read? Thanks for your help, brother. A friend of mine from Bleacher Report suggested 11W to me and I have been here for just a few weeks. Living in Florida has many drawbacks for Buckeye fans. I really appreciate it, Jason. If anyone else knows any other ways to get me from watching the Chris Fowler show where I am forced to listen to Desmond Effin Howard, I would greatly appreciate that as well. Thanks brothers.
Check the sites at the bottom of the right sidebar. We could probably stand to update this, but you should be able to find quite a few sites to keep you busy on Saturday mornings.
Also, welcome to 11W!
You can always watch this 100 times: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J7qF6ioDj8U
Ahh Cam. You will be missed.

I'm probably in a minority here, but I still watch Gameday. I'm not on the Herbstreit hate-wagon; the guy's got a job to do, and he does it. I still think Fowler is one of the best in the biz, and I enjoy the chemistry the guys have on set. As for Mark May, that guy clearly hates us, so I avoid him whenever possible.
I'm also in the minority so far in the poll, hating Penn State. In my line of work, PSU churns out the graduates; it's a top 5 school in that respect. Thus, I can't friggin' get away from Penn State fans if I'm east of the Mississippi. I live in West Virginia right now, and in an office of 25, I have to deal with 4 die-hard fans and their elitist attitudes.
Chase Sapphire commercial says it best: "Just because something's painted gold doesn't make it better." Notre Dame belongs in the FCS.
I lump Florida with the entire SEC - all 13 get equal hatred.
I'll always love to hate USC
I love to hate Texas. Also USC.
Real fans stay for Carmen.
