We will have more full story recaps later but I was able to get ahold of some for a quick comment on the full experience.
OL Mason Cole - "It was just awesome. Everything was intense and upbeat. It is definitely the best camp I've been to.
QB Drew Barker - "It was nothing like any other camp I had ever been to. It was a very unique experience and I'm glad I had a chance to take part in the 1st FNL at OSU. I got a chance to talk to some of the top 2014 guys which was great and I thought I threw the ball really well."
LB Raekwon McMillan - "This was a trip for me to really soak in all the OSU atmosphere, build a relationship with the coaches, and meet potential teammates. It was an awesome experience and I'm starting to feel like I'm a part of Buckeye Nation."
QB DeShone Kizer - "It was an enjoyable night. I got to compete once again against the top quarterbacks in the area. I also got to see Ohio State from a different perspective with being under the lights and with the music loud."
RB L.J. Scott - "It was an experience of a lifetime. To be coached individually by some of the greats known to the game of college football was awesome! It was a great opportunity to showcase your god given talents against other individuals at the same level as you. All around it was a life changing experience. If you didn't have dreams of college football at OSU prior to the camp, it most likely changed your view on that, and I think I speak for every athlete that was in attendance when I say that if we were to get another chance to do it again we would without question. It really was awesome."
CB Darius West - "It was a wonderful experience, very competitive, a nice group of receivers that made me work. I loved it how they let the former Buckeyes and NFL players come back and work with us and talk to us. I won't forget how they had the fans out there cheering for us."
CB C.J. Reavis - "I loved it. The atmosphere was awesome and working with Shawn Springs and Mike Doss was great too. The fans were great too and they were hyped like it was a game or something."
LB Davonte James - "It was very intense and a lot of help to me and my team to be a leader and to work harder for my team. Overall it was a wonderful camp."
Rave reviews to say the least.

hope McMillan isnt being a major tease
Awesome.
According to 247 sounded like Dante Booker Jr was there, did you happen to see him there Derek?
Favorite Buckeye: Obviously BJ Mullens
I saw that they said Booker and Barrett were there. I did not happen to see them. I'll do what I can to check on that.
Ok thanks Derek!

Barrett was not there
Thanks Derek...good stuff on McMillian's comment;-) Was Cliffton Garrett there? I heard he wasn't allowed on the field or something to that effect. Any word?

Garrett was there but per NCAA rules, couldnt be on field once it began because he was not competing
Hey Derek, 2 questions:
1) did McMillan compete? And if he did how did he look?
2) I read somewhere that Clifton Garrett was upset that he couldn't be on the field b/c he wasn't competing. Is that true and will there be any negative impact as a result?
1. McMillan didn't compete.
2. Garrett couldn't be on field during camp because of NCAA rules. During camp, you can't be on field if you don't compete. No negative. Just bummed.
MSU leads OSU for Garrett which surprises me
born and raised in Cleveland
Good to hear it's an NCAA rule. At first Garrett's tweets last night sounded slightly more than bummed. It does sound like he's gotten over it.
Per Twitter: "MSU has a SLIGHT lead over OSU" and "the whole field thing has nothing to do with it."
How the hell did MSU pull ahead? You would think that OSU would be leading even more after FNL. Is this going to end up another disappointment? Garrett saying OSU on top in the beginning and then going somewhere else in the end
I'm glad the guys had fun at the 1st FNL. Hopefully, it means more dark gray boxes in the not so distant future. :)
I found this comment rather funny and exciting at the same time on my twitter feed from one Beau Bishop.
"True story, we got the OSU FNL video in house & I said man "John Simon looks good" I then realized it was not Simon, rather Joey Bosa". #WOW
He could be joking but then again just look at Bosa's highlight tapes, the guy is going to be destroyer of worlds. I wish Simon had 2 more years of eligibility after this year.
Could you imagine Simon with Bosa, Spence, Pittman, Marcus, Schutt, Washington, etc. Granted, we'll probably see Spence and maybe Washington, Pittman, Schutt, and Marucs this year.
Less than five weeks now!!!!
Once Clifton realizes that MSU is MSU, he'll change his tune
^^^agreed...long ways away from Feb. 2014

If C.J. thought the fans were hyped like it was a game last night, then he really needs to come to a game.
