I briefly chatted with Devon tonight, when I asked if he would make it to Ohio State this summer, Devon replied, "I think so. My dad was just talking about it today." It isn't definite, but it looks like Allen will be visiting this summer (it would be in July). Allen also added Ohio State is the only school he would "definitely" visit in the mid-west, and could visit additional schools if possible. Seems to be good news, he'd fit well in Urban's offense.

Miles, what are the other schools he is looking at?
Capn, Make It So...
While this guy is faster than fast on the track, I'm not sure he's a better WR than others on the board... plus his clear priority this summer has been track over football... not saying that's bad or passing judgement, just saying. He's been talking about visiting midwestern schools for months... it's the end of June, and he has yet to visit one because of his busy track schedule.
That said, I would think the west coast schools lead for him... he's from the west coast, he's visited multiple programs out there, and they have great track programs out west as well.
last article I read mentioned ND, Michigan, and [maybe] Indiana, IIRC, being stops on his list, also. May have changed with the fluidity of recruiting.

The good thing with Allen is that he just now has more time for recruiting, so he'll be a guy that waits til the end. Odds are the other WR situations will have at least become more clear by then, so coaches can decide how hard to push for this kid.
He's looking at a lot of schools right now. Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame, Arizona, Arizona State, Stanford, Washington, and UCLA are definitely firmly in the running.... He wants to visit other schools, but his trip to the midwest may just be to visit family in Ohio, so he'd be able to visit Ohio State, and potentially only Ohio State.
i doubt he'll bother to stop by michigan. they recently offered several other 2013 WR's, and he never seemed serious about many of the midwest schools. having his dad as an alum definitely helps us, and he has proven to be lightning fast on many occasions. he might visit ND, which for some reason, keeps getting good recruits. but i wouldn't worry about indiana...
Get this kid in!!!
