I didn't see this posted anywhere, but Miami (FL) is currently atop the 2016 recruiting rankings. While they likely won't stay there, what I found interesting is that (per 247 Sports) they already have 18 verbal commits, a year before the next signing day. Are they pitching these kids the idea that they need to commit early due to the possibility of early signing? Not that I pay a whole lot of attention to other schools' recruiting, but I know we've never had that many this early. Thoughts? Perspective?
