As a fellow grunt who's jumped out of a plane, I can only imagine what this man has experienced.

More than his exploits or that he served on this day, in that place, in 1944...I admire him for his perspective, which connotes, "It was our privilege to serve."

I hope he's not jumping with a dash 1 bravo; he'll blow out a knee for sure even with a good PLF. Anyway, good for him.

I love skydiving, and was licensed at one point by the USPA, but I refuse to every jump in the military: I can't stand static line, and the military just seems to take the fun out of so many things we like to do.

And then I told her...i'm no weatherman, but tonight's forecast is calling for several inches!
