LSU offensive lineman Jevonte Domond was charged with felony domestic violence back in May. Those charges are still pending, but that's not stopping Domond from practicing with the team.

From Jason Lisk of TheBigLead.com:

Miles suspended Domond immediately after the incident became public, but he must have learned his lesson while missing all those games in June and July. Yesterday, Miles offered up some fancy talkin’ to explain that Domond was playing and competing in camp, with the charges still pending and unresolved.

"He’s in position to compete to play,” Miles said after meeting with the media Wednesday for the start of fall camp. “We’re letting the disposition of whatever entanglement he’s involved in run its course. He’s not suspended.”

That "entanglement"? Just run-of-the-mill allegations that he lifted the mother of his child off the ground by her neck while she was standing over the child's crib.

There is no word if one of LSU's infamous team votes were held before reinstating Domond.
