I was consoling myself with the fact that all good things must come to an end, you can't beat someone all the time, this'll get some of the rivalry back, yadda yadda yadda - and ET shoves the dagger. That. Was. Awesome.
I was a junior in high school when this happened, the entire school had the B1G tourney on and my history class stopped to watch the end. When he sank the three you could hear everyone just go nuts throughout the entire school. Even my history teacher, who had been standing behind us, started going crazy; he was yelling and jumping up on the shoulders of one of my good friends. It was a great time, thank you Evan Turner.
And before that Matt Sylvester's 3 point game-winning shot against unbeaten Illinois in the last regular season game from Matta's first year was a great moment.
I'm a little ashamed to admit i was in thompson library studying for a final when i heard the downstairs erupt like nobodys business.. i couldn't even tell if something good happened or not.. but then i quickly found out... oh happy day
I remember watching that in the office of my buddy, who graduated from the law school up north. I literally yelled out when the shot dropped (can't remember exactly what I yelled -- I don't think it was a curse word) and started fist pumping. His face just dropped to the ground, and everyone else on the floor came to make sure someone hadn't just died.
Such an amazing, clutch shot. A great, great memory. Thanks!!
I was at work at my student assisting job...I was on the computer so I had the ESPN gamecast up and was secretly checking every few moments. I looked at it right as it was saying UM 68, OSU 66 with 2.2 seconds to go, and thought to myself "F*&#!" Then next thing I know, it refreshes. OSU 69, UM 68 FINAL. Big smile and big fist pump. Great day.

Is he telling the scorer's table that they wrecked the program?

Sometimes an upvote just isn't enough. Nice work.
My favorite call on this shot is from the UM play by play guys. Once Turner's shot goes down, the guy shouts "OH NO!!!!!"
Here's the video, first with OSU's Paul Keels and then the UM guys.
And Matta's reaction is priceless.
HAHAHA I always love hearing that "OHHHH NO!!!"
So good.
I remember seeing the Michigan fan's reaction too. Anyone have that?
EDIT: I guess there was a little bit of it at the end...
Excellent.....gave this a Tuesday two play.
Ready for tourney time.

My favorite part is at the 00:33 mark...
Up-votes all around for the good Karma heading into the tourney.
Nothing like dancing on the field in 02...
I was going nuts when I saw this...... Such an amazing game to watch, freaking unbelievable...
Basketball-wise, I never thought Ron Lewis against Xavier could be topped...and then this happened.

Of course. Growing up in Illinois and dealing with the unbelievable bandwagon that was formed that season for U of I made that shot all the better.
Is this really necessary?
Those who stay will be CHAMPIONS!

Yes.
Edit: I was an upvoter, not a downvoter.
Is choking away a 5 point lead with about 20 seconds left necessary?
To err is human. Really sucking requires having yellow stripes on your helmet.
I second the yes. (and the upvote)

I have now watched this video over 20 times since it was made a Buckshot...I imagine I will enjoy it as much after the 50th view.
