Florida State and Boise State Schedule a Home-and-home for 2019, 2020
"We are very excited to add Boise State to our future football schedule," said Florida State Director of Athletics Randy Spetman. "Boise State has an excellent football program and we feel this will be an out of conference game that will be exciting for fans of both schools and appealing to TV networks.
"Adding the Broncos to our football schedule continues our commitment to bringing top quality opponents to Doak Campbell Stadium. With our neutral site game versus Oklahoma State in 2014, the addition of Pitt and Syracuse to the ACC and now this series, we feel we are putting our football program in the best possible position to compete in the new BCS beginning in 2014."
Florida State is getting a lot of praise for going out there. Nebraska tried, though Boise State's rather exorbitant demands precluded that home-and-home series. Boise State has Virginia on the docket as well for 2015 and 2017.

Florida State will not be on top forever unlike perennial powerhouse Boise. I wonder how much excitement this game will generate when the time comes.
I hope for some reason the game in Boise is late in the season. I would love to see a bunch of Florida kids have to play in Boise in late October.
Hard to tell if the series will even be worth it by the time it comes around. Once upon a time, Cal was a powerhouse.

Boise may actually be a member of the Pac-12 (14?) by then. These games could be the first of several losses every season once they start playing the big boys every week. TCU and Utah have done just about as well as I figured they would when they finally had to play good competition every week.
